After turning Hull into a Super League force once more he headed back to his native Sydney to coach at South Sydney before taking a short break from the game.
He has signed a four and a half year contract at the Reds which will see him take the club into their new stadium at Barton in the next couple of seasons.

ALAN HUNTE
Another GB favourite now plying his trade on the Reds’ coaching staff.
Considered by some as a Rugby Genius, Alan is now firmly in control of the Reds’ juniors as well as looking after the club’s scholarship system.
The former Great Britain, St Helens and Warrington Wolves star is also the man in charge of the scheme and gives the youngsters plenty of his knowledge and skill of the modern game.
The scholarship system at Salford City Reds allows young players to train and experience everyday life at a top flight rugby club, learning the business and football side of affairs. |

ANDY HAIGH

Andy works closely with our partners at the University of Salford at our Elite Training Centre at Castle Irwell. |
