Volunteering with the Reds
Current opportunities:
Community volunteer coaches – if you wish to find out when the next RL coaching course is on please contact foundation@reds.co.uk
The Reds deliver lots of wide ranging projects within our local community on a day to day basis and volunteering a little bit of your time to help out is a fantastic way to get involved with the Reds.
There are a whole host of benefits we can offer to any new volunteers including:
- Complimentary tickets to Reds Home games (t&cs apply)
- Free coaching courses
- Salford City Reds leisurewear
- Valuable work experiences
- Links to pathways for career progression e.g. Salford Sevice Area, amatuer clubs, sessional employment etc
- Free CRB checks
We have many success stories from our volunteers systems, most notably current Development officer Tom Haworth. Tom was working on a volunteer basis with existing Development officers in the community and on a match day when an opening emerged for a full time role within the club. Because of his committment to the Reds and experiences already gained, Tom was the stand out candidate for the new role and was appointed accordingly
If you would like to learn more about what you could gain from becoming a Reds volunteer then please contact a member of the team on foundation@reds.co.uk
*T&cs apply concerning allocation of passes – volunteer passes (including those for the Salford Service Area system & Manchester referees society) are issued at the discretion of the club/ foundation and can be revoked without notice
