Introduction

Welcome to the Salford City Reds Foundation.

The creation of the Foundation is the latest stage in the evolution of the club’s activities within the local community. The new Foundation will allow the club to consolidate its existing community programmes and expand into new areas.

The Foundation’s core objectives are to provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds with opportunities to participate in activities relating to sport, education and health. The areas the Foundation will operate in cover the city of Salford, Manchester, Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.

The Foundation is now in place to take the community work of the Salford City Reds to the next level. The Foundation has begun deliverey of innovative new projects such as the Community Investment Fund supported REDS project and the National Sports Foundation backed Streetlights scheme.
