Nash Has Surgery On Thumb Injury
March 27, 2009 by Paul Mc
Salford City Reds young prop Steve Nash is set for a period on the sidelines after an operation to correct a problem with his thumb.
Nash will be unavailable for the next couple of rounds but there is better news for Head Coach Shaun McRae with the imminent return of some of his injured squad.
“We are starting to get close to get some bodies back. Whether that will be in time for Hull KR on Sunday I’m not sure if that will be too soon, but several players are nearly ready for selection,” said McRae.
The Reds will announce their 19-man squad for the trip to Craven Park this afternon.
