October 15, 2008 by Paul Mc
Salford City Reds today unveiled their Super League 2009 playing shirts for the first time.
Phil Leuluai and Adam Sidlow were joined by Gordon McKinnon from the Trafford Centre and Red’s Chairman John Wilkinson at the Centre, which is celebrating 10 years of trading this year.
“We are very proud of our continued association with Salford Reds, and what has been an incredibly successful season for them. To have The Trafford Centre name emblazoned across their stunning new strip is a great honour for us. The team look very stylish in both their home and away kits, suitably sponsored by the Northwest’s home of style The Trafford Centre. Ours is a winning partnership, and we look forward to seeing the Trafford Centre name on the winners’ stand many more times in the future!’” said Gordon McKinnon
The 2009 Away Shirt is black with a Magenta trim while the home shirt maintains Salford’s traditional red.
A third commenorative shirt will be released after Easter and the home and away one will be on sale in late November.
