Reds To Launch Super League Super-Site

Salford City Reds will launch their new Super League Website, sponsored by Austin Wilkinson, at 12 noon tomorrow (Wednesday 15 October), with a whole host of new features designed to take advantage of current internet technology.
Reds Marketing Manager Paul McNally commented: “Wednesday’s launch will be a culmination of almost a year’s planning and construction and it will allow us to provide the kind of internet service our fans deserve. As with everything online time marches on and we have been very much aware of the limitations of what has served us so well for the past couple of seasons. What we will be unveiling will be up there with the best rugby league websites on the net and will be an ideal framework to build with as we head back to Super League.
“The main focus of the new site is our community and fans will be able to interact with us through the web in ways they never have been able to before and we’ll also be able to update the site from any location, getting the latest news and images as they happen,” he continued.
The new site will feature extensive statistics, interactive maps, several new fan areas as well as a new dynamic news system that will allow readers to keep up to date with goings on at The Willows without lifting a finger
As an extra feature the first new big story on Launch Day will be the unveiling of the 2009 Home and Away Shirts due to go on sale in late November and fans will be able to get a first look at them from 3pm.
