Salford City Reds fixture against the Bradford Bulls in July has been switched to Saturday 21st with a 6pm kick off. The game will be televised live on Sky Sports.
Kids Go Free to Catalans Game

The Reds are delighted to announce that every Primary School kid in Salford will be able to attend the next home ficture against Catalans Dragons FREE OF CHARGE*.
18,000 leaflets are to be delivered to every Primary school in the city so that the word is spread and these leaflets can be redeemed at the club for up to four free junior tickets.
Season ticket holders can also come to the Club Shop and collect free junior tickets.
Reds’ Marketing Manager Paul McNally said: “It’s great to able to offer the kids of the city the chance to see top quality sport for free. We’re going hell for leather to make sure every parent in Salford knows about the offer so we’re really looking for a good response.”

Jewitt Set for Debut

Reds’ Head Coach Karl Harrison is set to hand a starting position to young prop Lee Jewitt in their Super League opener against Leeds Rhinos (Sunday 3pm).
Jewitt has made a big impact since joing the Reds from Wigan in the close season and his pre-season performances against both his former club, and Warrington, mixed in with hard work on the training field has landed him his spot.
Harrison said:” We’re not afraid of playing our youngsters. Jewitt will be in my starting line-up and it will be a big occasion for the lad.”
Jewitt himself said: “I’m really surprised and flattered. I didn’t expect to get my chance so soon but I can’t wait to get at it.”
Reds’ experienced new forward Mark Edmondson said: “I’ve just been giving Lee some advice. I remember my first game and I’ve told him to just run in as hard as he can. He’s a tough kid and deserves his shot.”

Reds to Open New Car Park

Salford City Reds can confirm that extra match day parking will be available for the first engage Super League game this season against Leeds Rhinos on Sunday 11 February.
Further to negotiations started last year, the cricket ground at the rear of the family stand will now provide much needed extra parking at The Willows for the 2007 engage Super League season.
Salford City Reds Chief Executive, David Tarry said, ‘It has taken a great deal of time, effort and investment to both secure the availability of this valuable piece of land, and to bring the area into suitable condition. We have had a great deal of assistance in this respect from our club sponsors with local company Godliman and Watson making an invaluable contribution. This will hopefully make the club far more accessible to a wider audience who will feel more comfortable within this type of secure environment. ‘
Access to the car park is off Edward Avenue via Weaste Lane, with club access via the turnstiles at the top of Kennedy Road.
