Students from Salford City College, Pendleton Sixth Form Centre gathered together recently to celebrate another year of success and great achievements at the annual awards ceremony, held at the centre on Dronfield Road. Special guest speaker at the awards ceremony was Salford City Reds Chairman, John Wilkinson. John attended the ceremony to offer words of encouragement and inspiration to the students, as well as to congratulate them in their efforts. Boyle Hit With Suspension

Salford City Reds prop Ryan Boyle has been suspended for one game and fined £300 after being found guilty of a high tackle following his red card at Wigan Warriors in the last round. Boyle had been summoned to face the RFL disciplinary committee on Tuesday evening and was suspended with three other players for their indiscretions last weekend.
