Reds Get Stadium Green Light

The multi-million pound community sports complex for Salford has been kicked off by councillors. Salford City Council’s cabinet has today approved plans to form a joint venture company with Peel Holdings to deliver a 15,000-seat community stadium, which will be home to Salford City Reds. The £26 million project will transform land at Barton, with Peel and the city council pooling their land-holdings to create a single, 70-acre super-site.
